Fira, der Hauptort der Kykladeninsel Santorin, ist der meist besuchte Ort der Insel, auch aufgrund der großen Kreuzfahrtschiffe, und berühmt für seinen traumhaften Blick über die meist weißen Häuser auf die Caldera und das blaue Meer. Fira, the capital of the Cyclades island of Santorini, is situated on the west coast of the island on the caldera cliffs opposite the volcano, Fira has museums, galleries and cultural events as well as small cobbled lanes and absolutely amazing sunsets. Τα Φηρά ή οικισμός της Θήρας ή και Χώρα είναι η πρωτεύουσα της Σαντορίνης, κτισμένη στην κορυφή απότομων βράχων, σε ύψομετρο περίπου 250 μέτρων από τη θάλασσα, ιδρύθηκαν στα τέλη του 18ου αιώνα.
